BeschreibungPlease note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Team Ice Racing World Championship is an international ice speedway competition, first held in Kalingrad, USSR, in 1979. Since its establishment, the tournament has been noted by a continued Russian dominance: the Soviet Union, Commonwealth of Independent States and Russia have won all but three tournaments. The only non-Russian teams to have won were West Germany in 1983, and Sweden twice in 1985 and 1995. The most recent championship, held in the German municipality of Inzell, was won by Russia in its twelfth consecutive victory, with Austria and Germany placing second and third respectively.
