PortraitLaurie Ann March is an avid backpacker, hiker, and wilderness canoeist. Her first nature experiences were shared with her big brother, Bruce, who backpacked and hiked all over Canada throughout his life. Laurie's relationship and wilderness experiences with her brother instilled a deep respect for nature and love of the outdoors in her.
The outdoors isn't merely a hobby for Laurie -- it is her passion. She is an instructor of wilderness cooking courses, and she also enjoys her work as owner and editor of the popular outdoors e-zine www.OutdoorAdventureCanada.com. She now lives in Ontario, Canada, where she backpacks, hikes, and paddles with her husband, Bryan, and her two children.
