LAY, Jr., PhD, is the Director of the Arkansas Statewide Mass Spectrometry Facility at the University of Arkansas, and the author or coauthor of more than 100 publications in the field. In addition to his work with bacteria, he has developed mass spectrometry methods for cancer research and toxicology.
