SCOTT SLOVIC is Professor of Literature and Environment and chair of the graduate program in literature and environment at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is the author of numerous articles on eco-criticism and has written or edited ten books including The ISLE Reader: Ecocriticsm, 1993-2003.
